Jati Pinggir Park Revitalization Set for Completion by Early December

Revitalization work of Jati Pinggir Park along the West Flood Canal (KBB) in Petamburan, Central Jakarta is targeted for completion in early December.

Central Jakarta Assistant for Economic and Development Affairs Suprayogie and his team visited Jati Pinggir Park on Tuesday (9/29) afternoon to monitor the progress of the one-kilometer-long improvement project and coordinate with relevant agencies to address issues on the ground.

According to him, the JAK 11 Tanah Abang-Kebayoran Lama route is planned to run along Jati Pinggir Park in response to residents' requests in Petamburan.

"RT/RW and LMK administrators strongly support the improvement of Jati Pinggir Park. Public transport access through JAK 11 is also ready to operate in the coming weeks, with the route passing through the park area," he informed.

Yogie added that his team is also assessing plans to move the waste disposal site (LPS) from the West Flood Canal embankment in RW 01 to a 3R waste processing site in RW 04, Petamburan.

He is optimistic that the revitalization of Jati Pinggir Park will be completed as scheduled, by the end of November or early December.

"Progress on the Jati Pinggir Park revitalization project has reached 52 percent," he noted.

Petamburan Urban Village Head Rian Hermanu added that residents had warmly welcomed the trial operation of the JAK 11 route along Jati Pinggir Park.

"Within the next two weeks, JAK 11 vehicles will officially operate daily along Jati Pinggir Park. The park improvement project also includes the installation of signs marking stops for Jaklingko services," he explained.
